GIDRM at the COP21 in Paris

The 21st session of the Conference of the Parties (COP21) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is taking place in Paris from 30 November to 11 December 2015, convening negotiators and world leaders for the challenging task of establishing the first legally binding universal climate agreement in over 20 years of negotiations.

Together with the International Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), GIDRM organised and actively participated in the side event “Climate Resilience and Disaster Risk Management in Asian Cities” at the Cities and Regions Pavillon - TAP 2015 in Paris – Le Bourget on December 2.
